Fish Oil and Jump Rope


Jump ropes will be in tomorrow and Fish Oil will be in on Friday. If you are in need of either of these things please put your name on the sign-up sheet at the box.

Why would you need a jump rope when we have some? Because we will not custom cut them to your height, also how will you get better if you don’t practice at home? Jump ropes are one of those things that you just need to have your own.

Fish oil is important for many reasons. Below is a link to a great article on fish oil and why it is important to buy QUALITY oil. We don’t push supplements at CrossFit Uncommon because 95% of it is crap and will probably kill you in the long run. There are about 4 things I would be ok with you taking. Two of those things are high quality grass fed antibiotic free whey protein and the other is fish oil. We will have both of these in the box on Friday. This will not be something we stock like a pro shop….we aren’t GNC. We do have this first order however so you can get some and try it. If you see the benefit then we will place group orders in the future. We want to do group orders so all of us benefit from better pricing.

This discussion will cover how your body reacts to certain foods and how to fuel for performance. We will be discussing the Paleo diet some, but overall this will be about nutrition and not solely Paleo. This will be a discussion to inform you about healthy fueling that will lower inflammation in your body and improve overall body composition and performance. Stay tuned for the date.

Lastly…Thank You to you the athletes for daily inspiring me and pushing me to be the best, most informed coach possible. Somedays I dont have words for the display of heart and community I see from each of you. Thanks to all the people who have helped us get to this point, there are too many to list. And THANK YOU to Crystal. If you all knew the work she puts in you would be amazed. She has been the rock we lean on and a constant source to keep us moving forward. Thanks babe your the best.
