Virtual Barbell Club Week 3 – 5.7.20

What’s up Uncommoners. This will be our third week of Virtual Barbell Class since the last 2 weeks have been super successful! This week we are going to work on our snatch, as well as practice a jerk drill for you to try out.

Programming for the Day:

Warm Up:

2 Sets:

10-Breath Oblique Opener

10 Deadbugs

10 Cat Cow

2 Set:

20 Jumping Jacks

Lunge Pulses to Burn

10 Cossack Squats

.

1 Set:

10 Snatch Grip Push Press

5 Snatch Balances

5 Overhead Squats

2 Pull + 2 Snatches @ Positions 1, 2, & 3

.

Skill:

3 Sets:

Tempo Snatch with 3 second hold at Bottom Position + 2 Overhead Squats

.

3 Sets:

3 Drop Split Jerks

.

Cool Down: 

1:00 Couch Stretch

1:00 Straddle Stretch

1:00 Door Jam Stretch
